Late-night Google rabbit holes about your kid’s symptoms? Anxiety through the roof?

This is your trusted pediatrician-mom friend corner of the internet. Search my site instead of Google (or AI) and find calm, evidence-based answers. Type your question in the box below to start.

HAVING CHILDREN completely changed my approach to pediatric medicine.

As a board-certified pediatrician, I began my parenting journey with a “one size fits all” approach. Then I became a parent. As I tried to navigate feeding and reflux, sleep training and solids, tantrums and school dynamics, it became clear: parenting is just… not so black-and-white. And I realized: there should be a guide for this! So I created The Pediatrician Mom. You can use this site to find some peace, some answers, and hopefully some confidence to trust your gut as a parent, so you can make not just the right decision, but the right decision for your child.

All of my guides and blog posts are completely free—and they always will be. It’s mostly just me behind the scenes creating this content in the margins of real life. I’ll never try to sell you a course, but if you’d like to support my work, the best way is to keep reading, share with a friend, and consider picking up one of my books.

I’M DR. KRUPA PLAYFORTH

Everyone needs mom friends who have your back. And as your new mom friend, I want you to feel well-equipped to handle any challenge your child throws at you. At The Pediatrician Mom, you will find a searchable set of evidenced-based (and realistic!) answers to your child health questions so you can avoid Google and Chat GPT.

This is the closest you can get to a handbook for your child.
